How has your style changed over time?
I don't like to get in a rut, so I have done any/all things to do with quilting.
How do you stay inspired and motivated to create new art?
Each quilt is unique, so I am always creating something new.
Any info you can share about your work or your inspiration is great!
Working with colors and fabric inspires curiosity "what happens if...??" Sometimes the result is different than expected but it's always a learning experience. Keeps the brain young!

How did you become interested in your craft/artwork style?
I started sewing when I was 12 and my grandmother gave me my first sewing machine. My love and appreciation of quilting was ignited when I took a trip to Pennsylvania and bought my first Amish quilt.
Are you self taught or did you take classes?
I joined a quilt guild when I first started quilting and learned most from the guild, taking classes and soon after began teaching classes and most recently, I traveled nationally and internationally teaching for Handi Quilter, the brand of longarm quilting machines that I quilt on.
Do you work in multiple mediums? What is your favorite?
I have done many crafts through the years, but once I took up quilting, that is my passion.
How long have you been working in your craft?
I have been quilting for about 40 years.
What inspires you to create?
I love to work with colors and constantly interested in learning something new.
Do you create every day?
Pretty much every day.
What is your favorite thing to create?
I love to create quilts that will be a gift for someone.
What is your favorite part of creating?
I like the quilting more than the piecing, but my favorite part is the last stitch because that means now I can share it with someone.

What motivates you to create?
I love to keep busy and it's so rewarding to create quilts.
Does art help you in other areas of your life?
I am never bored and most of my friends are also quilters.
